味の素AGF㈱が「ブレンディの森」（関町沓掛 13.34ha）で、また、本田技研工業㈱が認定NPO法人 森林の風と「Hondaの森」（関町坂下 2.61ha）で、それぞれ間伐や技打ち、植樹などを行っています。天然記念物「ネコギギ」の保全亀山市は、鈴鹿高等学校とネコギギの飼育協定を締結し、ネコギギの保全に取り組んでいます。産学民官の連携組織「鈴鹿川等源流の森もり林づくり協議会」を設立森林や里山など鈴鹿川等源流域が育む地域資源を守り、未来へつなげるための活動を行っています。安全でおいしい水の供給亀山市の水道水は、地下水などから供給しており、市民アンケートでは、約７割の人が「安全でおいしい水が供給されている」と回答しました。企業が主体となった森づくり活動Our Natural Environments to Hand Down to the Next Generation We are proud of the natural environments and historical resources at the head of the Suzuka River, etc., which we should protect and hand down to the next generation as our irreplaceable treasures just like our ancestors did.In March 2019, Kameyama City enacted the “Ordinance for Conservation of the Natural Environments and Historical Resources at the Head of the Suzuka River, etc.” to conserve and take advantage of such treasures of ours through close collaboration among government, industry, academia and general citizens.12
